Subhash Ghai, fond of music, has now become a musician himself
I have always known Subhash Ghai as a complete filmmaker. I have seen him in all his avatars and one of them is in the form of a man who has a passionate love for good music which is evident from all the nineteen films he has made.
It is his passion to have good and even the finest music in his films that inspired him to work with a magical combination.
Laxmikant - Pyarelal and Anand Bakshi and once with Gulzar and Rahman and once with Nadeem-Shravan and once with Javed Akhtar in 'Meri Jung'. There have also been other music directors and lyricists who have worked with films made under the banner of Mukta Arts but directed by other directors.
He always gave me the feeling that he would someday write songs for his films, but I could not consider him to be the composer of any of his films.
But it took him many years to find the composer in that and perhaps it was the long break due to the lockdown that made him write many scripts and now he comes with a big surprise. He is the composer of '36 Farm House', a production he has produced in association with Zee Studios with a new director, Ram Ramesh Sharma and some more known actors. The film has been completed and SG as he has been known over the years is now working out the details about the release of the film.
The makers of the film went more and some remained as an example and in them the name of Subhash Ghai is still above all, after forty years. Hail Subhashji.
